The Service Selection Board (SSB) is a comprehensive 5-day evaluation of personality and intelligence to select officers for the Indian Armed Forces.

Students with this background are eligible to apply for all three branches of the armed forces: Indian Army, Indian Airforce and Indian Navy. In contrast, students from other streams are only eligible for entry into the Indian Army.
